    Took my 6 year old Boardman Comp in for a service after a couple years of low usage as the gears were slipping a bit and I didn't want to mess around with it myself, was recommended 250 of parts and service including cassette and cables which I'm pretty sure were replaced only a few hundred miles ago. Was recommended I should consider a new bike. So bit of a shop for consumer-as-a-cyclist culture, maybe inevitable in any retail unit of this size, not a great attitude for the planet. Will watch some YouTubes and sort myself.
